Bion-b Strategy and Communication receives an award at SmileFestival 2014.

For Best Creativity in Corporate Identity carried out for the brand Orbital Disc.

 

Bion-b has been awarded the prize for Best Creativity in Corporate Identity, in the 4th edition of Smile Festival (Festival of European Advertising and Humor), with the work carried out for Orbital Disc (manufacturer of abrasive discs).

The campaign «Extra-competitive UFOS», which uses humor and brings a fresh new twist to these industrial discs for surface finishing, has won the award. The identity constructed from these quality disks, at an unbeatable price and with a very well-defined strategy allowed Orbital Disc to achieve a 15% market share, something extremely difficult in such a saturated industrial market.

The use of humor in advertising within a traditional and informative environment as it is the industrial environment has helped Bion-b to be the winner in this category. In the words of Encarna Gómez «results prove that you can get customers by making them smile«.

The Awards Ceremony will be held on March 7th in the facilities of CaixaForum in Madrid and it will be hosted by comedian Soledad Mallol.

In this pretigious festival such important agencies as Lola, Grow Communication, McCann or Cheil World Wide or clients such as Coca Cola, Samsung, Red Cross, Heineken or Don Simon amon others have been awarded different prizes.

Smile Festival celebrates this year its 4th edition in which prizes are awarded to the best works that have used humour in their strategy. The pieces are selected by an expert jury.
